Ten degrees less than the city, sleeping with a blanket and all windows closed. 
A frog in the garden that was the largest frog we had ever seen.
Something in my eye that woke us up at 5 am and made us drive around the mountains until the wind would make my eyes watery and my eye at peace again. The sunrise that made the sky red. 
Hiking for hours and seeing a deer in the valley. 
A house full of photos from the past and birthdays and large pattern of the early 90s and framed pictures that were somehow modern back then. 
Scary drives under rocky mountains and shinny tea cups.
